Joint Core Strategy - Part 1

JOINT CORE STRATEGY - PART 1 CONSULTATION

As part of the ongoing consultation process, comments were invited on the draft 'Part 1' of the Joint Core Strategy (JCS).  This included:

- A 'spatial portrait' of the JCS area;

- A summary of the key issues faced by the area;

- A vision for how the JCS area could be on 2026; and

- Strategic objectives that must be fulfilled to achieve the vision.

Part 2 of the JCS will consist of spatial plans and policies designed to achieve the vision and strategic objectives and will be consulted on at a later date.
